People may use the word “cannabis” in reference to a community, a medicine, a group of commercial products, an industry, and an area of legal focus. Fundamentally, though, Cannabis is the scientific name of the plant genus on which all of these categories and labels are based. In this session, plant scientists will provide an accessible overview of the biology, chemistry, and agronomy (cultivation) of the plant that is the foundation of our industry.
